Taking place mostly on a trail in a forest known as Veridrake, two knights, Phoenix and Blackthorn, walk on this trail to return to their kingdom. While on the way, they both question their morals and their beliefs. This is no ordinary trail. This is a trail handed to them by Lilith - the sovereign hand and goddess of Apocrypha. On this path, Phoenix and Blackthorn start to lose their sanity in a descent into madness. According to their beliefs, they cannot escape Fate, and only Fate shall decide who will die on this trail and who will be cursed to wander the world with their guilt. Only one of them is leaving this trail alive. The Trail of Veridrake is a college student film adaptation of a medieval dark fantasy story set in the realm of Apocrypha.
